Inspectors' Review:

The shipping box is AWESOME - very comfy for sits
Enjoyed very much sitting on all the papers - especially the ones the boss needed XD
The smaller boxes were purrfect for sleeping and we highly recommend them as the must have cat beds!
Note to self - do not eat the soap! No matter how nice it smells.

Boss' Review:

I came across A Killing Affair through a Facebook group recommendation. I was a little hesitant because I haven't done a serial series before but when I saw it could be shipped all together I decided to give it a try.

The creators have done an excellent job creating a strong story that carries well throughout each box. I completed it over a 6 day period and was excited each day to come to it! The puzzles vary from easy to hard (using a mix of traditional puzzles, ciphers, and their own ideas) and the hint system does an excellent job in supporting players. In addition, the customer service was quick and efficient whenever I had an issue or question. They show they truly care about the experiences of players.

There are a few cosmetic issues (typos) but I felt they didn't take away from the story at all. I still was invested in solving and I enjoyed connecting with characters both on paper and through online means.

The detail to each box cannot be missed. Each box was filled with a mix of papers and objects that included reports, emails, letters, sticky notes, and crime scene evidence. They all worked fit

seamlessly into the narrative and provide a tactile approach to investigating that I enjoyed. Each piece unfolds another aspect of the narrative to flesh out the story and make it mean more the the player.

Solving a puzzle meant adding another piece to this jigsaw and getting a bigger picture. You could feel for some of the characters and what they had gone or were going through.

If you are interested in a murder mystery then I highly recommend A Killing Affair.
